Yuhyeon Byun is a Korean-American director, writer, producer, and production designer based in NYC.
Her work explores the emotional contradictions of the contemporary woman, often focusing on identity, intimacy, and the quiet unease and inner conflicts that exist beneath mundane interactions. Drawing from character-driven storytelling, her films aim to portray the modern female protagonist through moments that feel both emotionally acute and universally recognizable.
She is currently studying Film & Television at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
